What is Replume?
What Replume checks while your coding agent works.
You ask your coding agent to fix something. It works for a while, then says "Done, the tests pass." Replume is the part that checks that sentence.
When the agent says it is done, Replume runs your project's tests itself. If they fail, it sends the agent back to keep working, up to three times. Then it checks the change again in a separate copy of your repository and writes a short report: PASS, FAIL or INCOMPLETE, which files changed, which tests ran, and what it could not check.
While the agent works, Replume also watches each step. Your existing test files and your test command are protected: if the agent tries to edit a test so that it passes, the edit is refused, and the agent is told to fix the code instead.
You set it up once per repository:
npm install -g replume-cli
replume initAfter that you use Claude Code, Codex or Cursor as usual. Your first message to the agent is the task, and you do not write anything for Replume. The report is in .replume/reports/. replume watch shows the steps live in a second terminal.
Replume runs on your machine. It works with the test command you already have; it does not write tests for you, and it does not inspect your servers, CI runs or databases unless your tests interact with them.
