Install project hooks for the agent you actually use.
Claude Code
Run replume init when Claude Code is detected. It writes project hooks to .claude/settings.json. Live CLI runs observed a protected edit denied, a Stop block delivered, and a retry. The interactive UI and repeat reliability were not established by those runs.
Cursor
Run replume init --cursor, or have a .cursor/ directory before init. Check .cursor/hooks.json. A protected Write was blocked in two Cursor CLI runs. An out-of-scope warning did not block in two runs, and delivery of steering to the agent is unverified. Cursor IDE was not tested. In cursor-agent -p, no Stop hook fired in the live run, so do not count on the Stop gate there.
Codex
Run replume init --codex, or have a .codex/ directory before init. Check .codex/hooks.json; review and trust the project hooks in Codex’s /hooks screen. A trusted Codex CLI run delivered a protected-edit block, and a later live run delivered a Stop block and continued. Cloud hooks and disabled or untrusted hooks are not covered by those observations.
